The Kawala one of the oldest instruments of ancient arabic music is traditionally used for sorrowful songs. The video shows the end of a kawala flute in a close up. While one can hear a meditative melancholic sound an ephemeral soap bubble emerges. In a vivid play of reflections the back ground, the bath of a hotel room, becomes more and more clear, until the soap bubble implodes.
